Jupiter is located within the Brothers Project in Yalgoo, Western Australia.

It hosts Australia’s largest clay-hosted rare earth resource (1.8Bt), rich in magnet rare earths, yttrium and gallium.

Spanning approximately 40km² with low uranium and thorium levels, Jupiter is being advanced as a scalable source of critical minerals for Western supply chains.

Strategic Location

Jupiter sits in WA’s Tier-1 Yalgoo mining precinct, 250 km east of Geraldton with highway and gas pipeline access. The flat-lying terrain allows year-round operations. Critica also benefits from proximity to rare earth processing hubs at Lynas (Mt Weld) and Iluka (Eneabba), positioning Jupiter as a cornerstone of a secure, Western-aligned supply chain.

Why Jupiter?

Scale

  • Australia’s largest clay-hosted rare earth resource
  • 1.8Bt Mineral Resource
  • 40km² mineralised footprint

Magnet & Critical Minerals Exposure

  • Magnet rare earths (Nd, Pr, Dy, Tb)
  • Yttrium and gallium credits
  • Exposure to defence, AI and advanced manufacturing

Simplicity

  • Clay-hosted mineralisation
  • Beneficiation-first processing pathway
  • Significant mass reduction prior to leaching

Strategic Location

  • Tier-1 Western Australian jurisdiction
  • Infrastructure-rich location
  • Low uranium and thorium levels

Development Pathway

  • Commercial-grade product demonstrated
  • Scoping Study underway
  • Ongoing resource and metallurgical advancement

Project Advancement

Critica is advancing Jupiter through a staged development pathway focused on metallurgical optimisation, resource advancement and development studies.

Current workstreams include pilot-scale processing, product qualification, resource conversion and Scoping Study activities aimed at defining a scalable rare earth development opportunity.

Strategic Positioning

  • Rare Earths: Essential for permanent magnets used in EVs, wind turbines and advanced electronics.
  • Gallium: A critical material for semiconductors, AI infrastructure and defence technologies.
  • Yttrium: Used in advanced ceramics, electronics and high-performance industrial applications.
  • Western Supply Chains: Positioned to support growing demand for secure and diversified critical mineral supply.

District Scale Opportunity

Jupiter is the foundation of the broader Brothers Project, a district-scale rare earth system with multiple emerging targets across Critica’s Yalgoo landholding.

Alongside the 1.8Bt Jupiter Resource, targets including Aurora and Juno highlight the potential for additional discoveries and future resource growth.

The scale of the project area and extensive mineralised footprint support the potential to further expand Critica’s rare earth inventory over time.
